One of the most talked about trouble spots on the body… the Tummy! But how do you give yourself abs to be proud of next time you are strutting your stuff on that busy beach? Do 100 crunches per day until it starts to burn the fat off the belly?!
NO!
This is actually the precise goal of one of my personal training clients and we are using some high level, TOP SECRET tactics to get him to super defined abs in 10 weeks and just before Christmas, the restults are good so far, but il show you the end result later!
But there is a simple formula that you need to follow to give yourself a great start…
1) ACTIVATE the core muscles… ALL THE TIME! This is one of the first things I tell my personal training clients. This tactic will do the most work when it comes to tightening your tummy, if you can activate as much as possible, at home, at work, during exercise! Forget crunches, this is the thing!
2) Eat Right! It’s not abwork that reduces fat, it’s mainly what you eat that does! So FOCUS on it more than anything! I don’t have a lot of time to go into the details here, but keep to these 5 steps…
- Eliminate Sugar, Reduce Grain, Keep Hydrated, Eat Every 4 Hours in the daytime and Eat Natural Foods! This stuff works!
3) Abs Exercises! You need a regular total body workout programme to achieve best results, but our focus is for the abs today, so here are some of my favourites:
